Bowls Victoria Distinguished Service Award
BV Distinguished Service Award for services to Lawn Bowls presented to Pam Dind by MPBR President, Doug Fitcher, at Frankston Bowling Club.
Pam’s service history to bowls on the Peninsula.
Pam joined the Balnarring Bowls Club in 1995 and held many administrative positions at that Club until she moved to join Hastings Bowls Club in the late 1990’s again taking on many administrative roles at that Club.
She moved on to Mt Eliza Bowls Club and then again in 2011 to City of Frankston Bowls Club where she squeezed in a few games of bowls between all her off green duties at that Club
During all these years Pam also worked within Bowls Victoria as an awards committee member and coaching presenter and co-ordinator.
Pam also was a member of the Board of both the Peninsula Casey Bowls Region and Mornington Peninsula Bowls Region. During that time she also took on the role of Treasurer for a while in both Regions.
In addition Pam served as a selector on the Region Squads and served on the Peninsula District Ladies Bowling Association for many years.
For 8 years, she was the Presenter and Producer on local community radio 3RPP FM. “Bowling around the Peninsula”.
Both Bowls Victoria and MPBR have unanimously approved this award and are honoured to present the Distinguished Award to Pam in recognition of her outstanding 29 years of continuous service towards bowls on the Mornington Peninsula.
